I know people say that everyone has a spirit guide, I wish I could contact mine! I've had a few quite psychic experiences, but nothing major - I hope the more I get involved, more might start to happen!

Having said that though we both get names and other information as well which we can sometimes confirm but I guess not on the same level as a medium.
*Edit: When I say "we" I mean Vamp Sam and I the royal we ;D

The way I understand it is we all have one main guide who acts as a team leader if you like. You then have other guides and speicalists who can come and go when needed.

You're lucky, as it's obviously a gift! Does it sometimes scare you? I remember you saying that something followed you home once, was it from Coalhouse Fort?

I did used to sleep with my head under the duvet which was a bit of a standing joke espeicaly in the middle of summer but Im a lot better now and as long as bobafetish doesnt leap out wearing anymore masks Im ok.
To be honest I think everyone can do it. We are all born of the same source and if you think of it like your a spirit with the power to talk to other spirits but you currently have this physical shell your living in which is hindering the whole process. They are on a much higher frequency so its a matter of plenty of meditation and trusting your gut feeling. Your guides will recognise this and will come in and "tune" you up so that you can start to get on the same frequency. Its a lot like what is happening to Simon and Sam with the tingling and the whistling in the ears etc.

The spirit that followed me home turned out to be one of my guides, Peter. I just put two and two and the duff advice from the spiritualist church in Camberley together and assumed the worst. Ive heard they arent quite as equipped over there in camberley as you might hope.

I have had tingling similar to Simon, (ooerrr!) especially at Farnham Castle - which I'd never experienced before, but at one point Julie, (who was at the Hautboy), was saying to me at the Talbot, "stand here - you must be able to feel this cold spot/tingling sensation" - but I couldn't feel a thing! Perhaps theres no hope for me

I wouldnt worry if you didnt feel something someone else did. It doesnt mean anything. Ive sat in a room full of people groaning on about feeling uneasy and uncomfortable and felt fine. ;D
Maybe they objected her shoving her hand into their space but didnt mind you doing it. They are people just like us after all...

I've never thought of it in that way before. I've only really been getting involved in all this for a short while - but the more I do, the more I want to do - it seems to fill my every waking minute now!! (I tend to avoid mentioning this as you either get laughed at, or people think you're mad! ;D)

I'm guessing you guys are having a slow day at work then ;D. I've been busy working away and come back to find I've missed all the chat . I'm an Area Sales Manager for a local company and the other manager in my dept is off today so I've had to run between two desks most of the day . I know how you feel Teresa, about not mentioning all this in front of others and having to put up with all the eye rolling. In the early days I felt the same but as the months have gone on and I've become more involved in all this I have become more confident and sure of myself. Steven has been a big help and has given me loads of support ( plus a bit of pushing when I've needed it too). It has been an amazing last month or so as alot of what Steven and I have been picking up on and connecting with has been able to be confirmed by others who have picked up the same thing or by historical records. I think there is a need when anyone starts to work with spirit to have some kind of confirmation that what they are experiencing is real and not imagined, which is something that I suffered from and blocked me psychical from a some time. If you keep doubting yourself then that may cause spirit to back anyway. Now I am able to let all of the laughing and eye rolling go over my head. Evenually, the more involved you become, the less you'll worry or care about what others think too. ;D

Thanks for that vampyresam! It's still early days for me as I've only been getting involved the last few months - it's annoying that there isn't any kind of development circle/spiritualist church near me (I live near Dorking) - Sue was trying to find out about one in Woking - as that's not too far - the one you guys go to is a bit out of the way for me.
And yes, I am having a VERY quiet afternoon at work! ;D

Just to say I've had a quick e-mail from QueenofSwords to say she's been a bit frantic and hasn't had a chance to come on here yet - she got the password OK Guess she has a busier day than me!
