The knack is to flatten them down before putting into toaster! A rolling pin helps.

To be honest I don't really celebrate Easter. Just another bank holiday to me. ( I can hear you all calling me a killjoy but I don't care ;D) I don't go out and buy all the easter eggs and hot cross buns and stuff till after its all over. All the the shops sell their left over easter eggs real cheap. So I have to say my favourite eggs are the half priced ones ;D

Well unless you're particularly religious or under the age of 12 I don't think Easter is that exciting Talking of eggs, years ago my brother worked as a rep for Cadburys and used to bring home ALL the broken ones that they couldn't sell .............. I couldn't look a Curly Wurly Easter Egg in the face for years...... ;D

Er............ We did have a really nice 'posh' white chocolate egg complete with yummy chocolates a few days ago ........... (which daughter persuaded husband to buy last week so she could 'look' at it until Easter......*cough*) but certain children over 12 seem to have already demolished it..... I'm going with Sam's idea........... next weeks half price goodies........... ;D which I'll consume in the car before i get home......... mmmmmmm Gone are the days of crushed cornflakes/rice crispies in paper fairy cake cases dunked in chocolate and filled with mini eggs to make bird's nests......... DOH showing my age.......
