Right. Okay. ATTENNNCION!!! Sat 31st July. Where are we going people? Its very difficult for me to do week nights as I start work at 7:30am & dont finish until about 6pm. I dont have too much holiday left either. Lets get something arranged. Would you like me to do some research into local locations? I could check out group public liability insurance & get us (hopefully) in to somewhere like the castle or somewhere like that. Would you all be willing to pay a little for insurance? My guess is that it would be for a year rather than one night. Or the locations own policy may cover it. Let me know your thoughts. Martin.

That sounds like a good plan. Can everyone make that date? I can definitely, no weddings then. Well I havent been asked lets put it that way The castle would be a great one for that night its local and has history. I m happy to pay towards costs if we get enough of us together it shouldnt be too bad. : This just in from PT Hi
Just had the following email from the General Manager at Farnham Castle telling us of a recent happening!
"We have a new member of staff who does duty management at weekends who had a recent experience with one of the housekeepers in Morley 1, while cleaning the room. He went to close the window (sash type) which dropped down on it's own and the catch shot across, again, on it's own. Both the DM and the housekeeper verified the same story..."
The Morley areas of Farnham Castle were very active when we visited last March and we hope to experience more when we visit at Halloween!
Kind Regards Andrew www.paranormaltours.com

I'd be up for a vigil on the 31st too as long as its not too far away or overly expensive, I don't mind paying something but can't afford a lot. I'll have a scout around for locations too, although the castle would be very cool. I've just sent away for an EMF meter so I'll be itching to try it out! Simon.

Oaky I have finished reading now, thought the homework days were behind us. What a place eh? I read the account of the guy walking his dog and it sounds a very active place. I saw that another group had camped there and witnessed a form crying or whailing and illness etc and another group couldnt stick it out and upped and left complaining of an evil presence. Plus the horseman woohoo. I guess if we wrap up warm and take gloves it could be done. (not sure how cold its going to get out there at least at the abbey we had shelter) Anyone else interested?

Wow...
That sounds like a very interesting place. I especially like the dog walkers story. I have a little scotty called Hamish! I dont think he would like it much even though he is a real head case. He'll probably scare off the evil prescence. If the weather forecast is looking good then it would be a great place to go to. Would you all be camping? Do you think you have what it takes to spend the night?
Martin.

Hi Steven, Glad to hear you did your homework, young man! There will be a test later . I'm hoping that the good old English summer will return so it won't be too cold , Martin. Though it will be warmer then the last time went camping, which was in January last year. In fact have gone camping twice in January. Nothing quite like waking up to find the tent covered in ice! . Have got a couple of windbreaks which would give some shelter if it get's a little chilly, though. As I said, had considered going there earlier in the year but really wanted to go with a few more people, so if you two are up for it hopefully a few others will brave it too. Sam.

On the 31st July 2004 the crew are heading to Chanctonbury Ring! (if everyone else wants to).
Do you know any of the history there Sam? Why is there a ring? Is it stone? who put them there? was it the Welsh again?
See you Monday.

Glad to hear the trip's on. Hopefully we'll get a few more people interested too. I'm going to do some more research in to the history of the ring.( I suspect the Welsh were involved somehow. They seem to have their fingers in a lot of pies . I will keep you posted. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday. Sam ;D
