I have finaly finished viewing the last of my three tapes this evening and we have some interesting camera movements and footsteps in the room with the statues in and there is also what sounds like scratching on the microphone (when the room is empty, doors are shut and its locked off on tripod) and we have captured a couple of Orbs in the Nannies room. I am going to watch the tapes again before I mention it to PT's just to make sure Im not missing something obvious but it looks interesting. I also found some uninvited visitors who came into the nannies room when we left it to go inthe other room. (with the computers and the Rober Elliot guy in) The good thing was the guide was telling them how they had discovered bones in the wall of the the room we were in which were blessed and placed back into the wall, so they are still there Thats the room I think we all felt something in. I think she also mentioned it was the same wall as where the suit of armour was on the outside. So there you go, anybody found anything on the tapes yet?

I've now watched the last of my three tapes tonight. I believe I caught a few light anomalies, or orbs on tape. One particular incident was interesting when we were on our first vigil. I can hear myself saying something along the lines of "it'd be nice to see a little light" when an orb moves past Steven on his left. I mention that I have seen an orb & Steven asked which side adding that he has been feeling a presence on his left side. It's also interesting to note that I also caught an orb in the same room when we were doing the walk around with the medium earlier in the evening. I believe I also captured orbs on my camcoder in other rooms, noteable - three in the computer room, all around Steven (popular guy with the spirits) - several orbs caught on both digital camera & camcoder in the dining room. I think however my favourite orb caught on the night was on our last vigil in the early morning, with the medium present. I think this proves that you should either never close your eyes & go to sleep for a second when ghost hunting or you should have one team member fall asleep and then video them. The following happened at around 5:47 when we were becoming very tired. Geoff was leaning against the wall near the door & I saw he was being to fall asleep so I started to tape him as I thought it would be funny to play it back to him later. Geoffs legs were cross & stretched out in front of him at the time when I clearly got an orb seemingly appear from behind his feet, circle over the top of his feet then disappear into the floor. I would also like to point out that I didn't see the orb at the time I was recording. I'm going to be passing all my tapes over to Steven for him to review & hopefully confirm the sightings.

I was just thinking did you see the orbs on my left side after I said I could feel something there or before? I think I said I could feel something by my left leg then you confirmed there was something there but I havent got that moment on film this end as the camera was off. I might need to change my shampoo as they might be dandruff

Hi Steven, Ref the orb on your left leg, I believe I said there was an orb by your left leg before you mentioned you felt something on that side. Unfortunately I didn't catch the kicking incident as I'd hope, as my camera was facing the opposite direction. Geoff was taping part of Stevens dowsing in the dining room but only after the kick had taken place. The part caught on tape clearly shows Chris's feet no where near Stevens at that point but we can't confirm that was the case before Geoff started taping unfortunately. Always the way isn't

I can't believe I made the diary section ;D how chuffed am I. The pics look great real shame I didn't get 'the foot kicking incident' on tape that would have been archive footage, never mind though as I will know what to film for our next one.

I've just read Geoffs account of Bodelwyddan Castle in the diary section. It's great to have more then one account of the same night as everyone views the event from a different perspective. It also gives a fuller account of the night as with this sort thing with so much going on & with being tired its easy to forget things. Geoff & Steven have managed to cover what happened & I prompted with a few bits Geoff forgotten. Poor thing, he was very tired by the early hours. Thanks guys. PS Thanks Steven for showing the more flattering pics of me. I love the group shot. ;D

Been doing a little research this morning after our resident historian pointed out something ealier. In one of the rooms I remarked that I could see an Ostrich and that it was a strange thing to see but I kept seeing it. Sam pointed out that it may have been related to feathers, like you migh have found in a victorian hat etc. The crest below is the crest for Denbigshire the town or county the castle is situated, a description is underneath but the upshot is the Lion is holding an Ostrich feather. ARMS: Argent on a Bar wavy Vert between in chief a Cross fleuretty engrailed Sable between two Choughs proper and in base a Lion rampant Sable a Barrulet wavy Argent. CREST: On a Wreath of the Colours upon a Mount Vert a Port between two Towers proper issuant therefrom a demi Dragon Gules murally gorged Or and holding in the fore-claws an Ostrich Feather Argent.
Motto 'TARIAN CYFIAWNDER DUW'- The shield of justice is God. Granted 3rd December 1974.
The County of Clwyd was formed in 1974 from Denbighshire and Flintshire. The more obvious one however is the this big link to Wales : Part of the Prince Of Wales crest is a plume of three Ostrich feathers. Also whilst researching I found the name Sir William Williams as owner of the castle and speaker of the house of commons. William was a name Sam picked up in the Dining room I believe. Sir William Williams (1634-1700) was a lawyer, MP for Chester and later for Beaumaris, and the first Welshman to become Speaker of the House of Commons, a post which he held from 1680 to 1685. A critic of King James II, he was nevertheless appointed Solicitor-General after a dispute with fellow Welshman Judge Jeffreys. He helped to draft the Declaration of Rights. Williams was knighted in 1687 and created a baronet in 1688. There is alos reference on the net to a Victorian Dr Robert something (lost the d**n link now but am searching again) as well but unfortnautely to read the article you have to pay as its one of these annoying subscription things but I will post the link as soon as I find it.

A group of paranormal investigators are driving through the Welsh countryside when they came across a roadsign: ‘Bodelwyddan’ After the one of them attempts to say it, the others start laughing – and quickly, the pronunciation soon becomes an argument. So much so, in fact, that they’re all still debating as they pull into a restaurant by the road. As they're settling their bill, the one of them can’t help questioning the cashier. ‘Excuse me, but would you mind settling an argument between us?’ ‘Could you pronounce the name of where we are? Only please do it very slowly.’ The cashier rolls her eyes, and leans forward. ‘Liiiiiiiittttlllllleeeee Chhhheeefffff,’ she says.
