do not think she was the first but she was 80 when she died so maybe always had the role of looking after people or something.

I would really like to find out who this Catherine Poulter was  Found a link to a site detailing all the Poulters in the area, it certainly is/was a very local surname: homepage.ntlworld.com/john.boon/the-poulter-collection.htmBut can't find out anything about her in particular. I'm sure she has some significance in that graveyard. |
