we have had people on investigations thinking it was going to be like MH

and ending up disappointed and bored when there isn't ghosts coming out of the walls

It really is like fishing isnt it, apart from the rods and bait of course. Lots of late nights chatting until the small hours with the occasional draft or knock etc then everynow and then wham you get something amazing which makes it all worthwhile.

I wonder if anyone has ever combined the two?

i'm still waiting for that something amazing to happen

i haven't even heard any odd knocking sounds

not even a shadow

the only thing i have done is glass divination

and that can be misleading as can all the victoriana that is being used now

Where i used to live in rainham, there is a big manor house, farm and a huge fishing lake, with an island in the middle,and that the farmer hung his wife from the tree in the middle of the island because he caught her being unfaithful, and now she haunts the lake, there is night fishing allowed and people have heard wailing and a women crying during the night.....

Thinking about it another place is Fleet Pond supposedly haunted by one of the monks who used to fish there. I keep meaning to go there as its about 20 min walk from my house. Thing is its the largest body of water in Hampshire so it really would be a ghost hunt...

we had some lakes near in mk that are meant to be active

not sure how true it is tho, but they are in a tiny hamlet so you never know

Sadly I dont think he is the problem with the show though so it isnt a fix by any means

Good on Derek i suppose at least he is going to carry on his career Mh is just going to dive bomb once he goes and they wll be trying to claw onto everything theyve got to keep up there, In a way Derek made that show.

Nicely put Sammy. No judgement on Derek's abilities but his personality, quirky ways and enthusiasm made the show. Thats what TV is about you could have the most interesting subject in the world but if its fronted by somebody that is as interesting as a wet lettuce people turn off.

I saw this psychic barber replacement bloke on telly last year and he is as camp as Christmas, compared to Derek thats saying something ;D

It will be with Dale Winton next and that chubby fellow off the airport show on BBC 1 hosting it before we know it.

and a lot of people rave about him
