Small Gorgeous Choccy Biscuits does sound better  Big ouch with car bill, but as you say it could have been worse. you could have been hurt  . Not yet. I will be ordering one tonight though. I'm going for the amethyst crystal pendulum as that's my birth stone. I wear an amethyst power bracelet and a snowflake obsidian one too. It helps ward of negative energy & keeps me calm me, hopefully  . I just had a chat with mum about pendulums. My mum is an aromatheopist and used to own a new age shop a few years ago. She buys things from her old suppliers still but I'd have to wait a while as shes not ordering anything yet. . You may have to give me a few tips on using a pendulum. Blimey, I never realised what a "ripple effect" bringing my favourite vigil food to a vigil would create. Please accept my appologies. In future I will keep them out of sight and sneak one or three in to my mouth when nobody is looking ;D
At least you all know what my fav snack is whilst on a vigil.

Vampyre "Small Gorgeous Choccy Biscuits" Sam, I like it but couldnt say it quickly I posted a good link on here the other day www.crystalinks.com/dowsing.html which covers the basics. But it is one of those magic moments when it starts answering correctly. Its a little like tuning a radio in at first but once you have established whats a YES and NO etc there is no stopping you. My first one was a rock crystal from Uri Geller on a boot lace so it really doesnt have to be any thing fancy to work. (Dont tell Uri I said that ) Though I now think its worth taking on board crystals ideas on a bit of protection. I got a couple of power bracelets but have ordered two more from the site also as they do seem to make a difference. I have a Golden Tiger Eye and one which is a mixture. I have now gone for Blue lace agate and Black onyx for their properties. Im going to start a blue peter campaign on the site with a big lighty up meter for my shiney new rods. Let me know how you get on with yours as its interesting stuff. |

Steven just a thought, have you been back to the Abbey and tried dowsing for your lost pendulum? I understand you can dows for lost things so it could be an interesting experiment.

Funnily enough I have been thinking the same thing but with the car being off the road its not easy getting back up there at the moment. Its in the menders today so I may well go up and have a look at the weekend. Failing that Ill borrow Robins Metal detector and have a look. Its still got a bit of chain attached where it parted company so might get picked up. I dont think English Heritage will mind as long as I dont start digging |

Enough about Small Gorgeous Choccy Biscuits!!! So when are we going to meet up? As you may be aware, our computer has been having some problems... Unfortunatly I cant get the secondary hard disc going at the mo. This is a real bvgger as thats where the footage is!!! Typical I know. Thinking about it?!?! Sams fan belt... Stevens crystal & deer... My computer going down for no reason?!? I think we should have left brother Simons pipes well alone!!! Alas I doubt the Cistercians had any curses. Anyway... I can give you the Hi8 with the footage on it. Thats the best I can do Im afraid.
Who fancies a drink down the local then? We need a quiet pub easily accessible for us all. I like to go to the Windmill in Ewshot? Its inbetween Fleet & Farnham & is sign posted. Those of you who have been to King Johns castle in Odiham would have driven past the signs. Anyway let me know your thoughts.

Hi Martin, Sorry to hear about your computer problems. I guess I got off lightly with the feltbelt going. Luckily for me I had a spare fanbelt in the boot so I got my car fixed the next day. Ok with the pub. Never been there but I'm sure will be able to find it ok. Have to sort out the when now. We will have to find a time we can all make . Sam |

My camcorder is compatible with Hi-8 tapes. If you want, I can re-capture it and send you a back up copy incase you have more problems and lose your one copy. I know Chris has managed to capture his footage although Steven has, like yourself had car/pc problems and so it's probably on the back burner
I will speak to Steven/Chris regarding their footage and I will try and organise a meet at the windmill to trade tapes/Data DVD's
Will post back with confirmations soon

I know that the footage is deffo on the 2ndary drive. Its just a matter of sorting out the computer when I have a spare couple of hours.
