Sounds to me like your halfway there already then.
I think a lot of it is about just trusting your gut instinct in these situations.

Gosh - this is a busy thread, there're flames on the little yellow folder already! ;D Perhaps you'll have to have a go with the ring Spooky?

Im still finding my feet with Zacks help but its been interesting and quite an experience so far. I only got my bits and pieces the other night but have started scribbling as I mentioned above. Its not great but seeing as I never drawn before Its worthy of hanging on the fridge door I think

nope, its never been something ive needed to try. i tried some automatic writting the other week and that was quite deep and meaningful (esp for me!) but i dont really see myself as going down the art path! but its a wonderful gift to have! and i really hope you do well with it- any chance of a quick portrait when i see ya?!!!
when did u start getting the feeling that u needed to draw?

I dont know if its a path Im going to take up fully or not but its another string I guess.
It was in the last couple of weeks I felt disconnected for a while which was a little worrying, especially at the last PT event in wales and then I got a real feeling that I wanted to do some drawing, which I have never wanted to do before now so under Zacks guidance I went and got the equipment and am currently "going with it". Not sure Im quite ready for requests but will see where it goes over time...

How was it with the writing? I have yet to try that but my two uncles used to do it quite a lot in the past.

Thanks for that Zack.
I know next time I attempt this I am going to grab a paper and pencil there and then and try and stick with the moment. (even if it means cold pizza)

the writting was good, it just all flowed out- it was all about a rose blooming! its hard to sit there and not concerntrate, because after a while you start to concerntrate then it all blows out the window- youre supposed to keep an open, clear mind, but its very hard to rid yourself of thoughts, and i guess sometimes even doubt in yourself...

Yes the doubting is a big problem isnt it. Im guessing it will all come together in time. Sounds like your making real progress though, well done

We had a lady called Edna at the investigation we did at the beauty salon in Aldershot, who was doing automatic writing, and came up with some interesting stuff, including a personal message for a staff member from her mother. Wasn't convinced though, as she knew the girl's mother had died fairly recently.
