The Lamb & Flag is situated on Rose Street in Covent Garden. Its a 17th century tavern with a fantastic atmosphere and a real warmth to it. It is full of history with some great stories including the attempted murder of the Poet Dryden.
I have already stuck my foot in the door by giving my contact details to the Manager of the pub. If they want to contact me they easily can (if they don't within the next couple of days then they will be getting a call).
The staff at the pub have given a name to the resident ghost. "George" is said to mainly haunt the kitchen, although paranormal things have happened all over the pub. This makes me think that there is more than one ghost & the pub is in fact a hive of activity. Ive been to enough locations to know when Im somewhere that is very active. A manifestation has been seen a couple of times. I will let you know the out come of my conversation with the Manager.
Keep an eye out when you next see the O2 adverts. The pub is featured.
Quick pint in the oldest pub in Covent Garden anyone?
Martin.

Wow I've been to that pub many times, a friend of mine used to work in Whitehall and I finished work early on Fridays then so I'd jump on the train and meet him for a pub crawl. We used to go all round Covent Garden and must admit that the Lamb and Flag was one of my favs but I didn't know about the ghosts. My band also did a gig at the Rock Garden in 1988, its great around there, many drunken memories ;D
