Well its finaly arrived. This weekend Im going to the site of the now infamous s p o o n gate incident.
Its been a while now. The production company at the time no longer produces the live events. Phil Whyman has left the show (some of the rumours being he was unhappy with the way it was dealt with.)
At the time I was impressed as I think was everyone who was watching, if anything it made great TV.
After recent events however Im now inclined to believe it was thrown by one of the production crew. Im sure they will never be able to prove one way or the other but after they caught Stuart throwing a glass at Derek its not so impossible anymore that anyone would do such a thing.
I know its been discussed to death but what does everyone think now some time has passed? I know I have changed my oppinion....

I defiantely think it was one of the crew after the recent events and the angle that it came from, but just be careful and keep an eye out! Maybe could be good to talk to some of the staff there and get some gossip on them, see what they think? Have a good one!

Met the site contact at the weekend and after chatting to him and spending the night in there I have changed my mind. I think the s p o o n was very likely poltergeist activity. It has got to be the most active place I have been all year. Twice I had to stop my team from running out the building and there were screams going off all over the place through out the night. At one point two women transfigured into these two men, I had to escort one lady out as she couldnt cope. We found out after that we shouldnt have stayed in there at that point as when this happens in this location of the building its time to leave. On my way back in I met my team screaming and running towards me in the dark. They had just all heard something running towards them on the floor boards. I pointed out that as investigators we should be running after the footsteps and not away. So with them about 10 foot behind me we went in search of the cause. Another team in what is known as the haunted chamber had a pen go missing. Whilst looking for the pen two digital cameras froze and then the pen dropped from the ceiling in front of them very on purpose and in full view. The information they got whilst in the room was all confirmed at the end of the evening and they had contacted a known murderer who likes to play games and scare people. There is one spirit in there, of the 40!!!!, when if they are seen they have to evacuate the building. I know this sounds a bit OTT but this was not part of "the show" if you like I was told this by the site lead to keep an eye out for. It is known as Red Eyes and is supposedly quite a nast piece of work. Twice during the night I actualy had Peter tell me to get out quick which is a first for me as he normaly just hangs about in the back ground. Stupidly I didnt and thats when we had the screams shortly after.... I also know that one of the other team leaders guides were kept very busy. There was also lots of materials strewn all over the place linking to witchcraft, pentagrams, crystals, straw dolls and tarot cards to name a few, which is maybe a major contributer to the energy in there. I know a local group of witches still meet up there. Before hand nobody was told anything about the sightings and hauntings, so we didnt have any kind of auto suggestion. So all in all Wow! If you can get the chance do go there they arent kidding about the spooks!
