Had a very interesting night on Saturday, a very active place. Not sure it added anything scientificaly but the electrical storm over head certainly added to the excitement for the night. So we sat in the boardroom still on its original decor like something out of the fall and rise of Reginald Perring the lightning outside being the only source of light. The energy in this room was amazing and over the walky talkies we were hearing reports of activity on the diffent vigil locations. We sat in a circle and tried an experiment which recently gave some interesting results at the Galleries of Justice so I wanted to try again. I will go into the experiment another time as thats a few paragraphs in itself but the result was I seemed to be transfiguring this character who was a lot taller than I am and thinner, not hard to do I hear you say, I was supposedly talking with a very posh and authorative voice though I dont recall it at the time. I also crushed poor Kerrys hand which I didnt realise I was doing either. So though I wasnt in trance I could feel this energy occupying the same time and place as me and I only found out after that the team could all see and hear these changes. I also connected with a young boy which was verified by the historian and later Stewart channeled him with some amusing results. Down in the cellar I got furious for no reason and wanted to knock the doors down but I kept it under control but was an amazing power surge from something down there. The glass divination was very productive and at one point the spirit turned on soembodies mobile phone, something we tried to do again after manualy and it was one of these inset buttons which isnt easy to turn on at all let alone by accident. All in all a very interesting location and Im looking forward to hopefully going back again one day soon. Terry was also getting names verified and took part in the experiments. So not a bad way to start a birthday

Sounds good. Have been reading the accounts of the night on PT site too. I went to the zoo a lot back in the late 70s/80s, but can't remember seeing a Hall there, or knowing there was one! Might pop down to the zoo again some time!

The hall has been there a little while now Hartswood one section we were in dated back to medieval times so maybe you were to engrossed in the fluffie animals ;D Merita, shame you missed a good night. We had Historians and archeologists on site as well so they really went to town on this one. Stewart as always was fantastic with some interesting channeling going on at one point. I've been on a couple of PT investigations, and I must admit they are well organised - far more so than another investigation I did with a different group! But they can be a bit on the pricey side......

The PT events are not just an investigation. That is where they differ from the traditional everyone chip in £5 to give to the landlord type investigations.
PT go to a lot of famous locations and those places don't come cheap, they also provide food, a medium, a workshop, readings, ghost walk and safe structured envionment in which to conduct an investigation.
I have been on investigations that have cost anything up from £5 and to be honest I have had such a dull time. Mostly the groups running these events just like to sit around and talk about how great they are and do little to no proper investigation and recording of results. I go home bored tired and stinking if cigarette smoke and begrudge paying them £5 for the pleasure. I have been working with PT for 2 years now and have yet to encounter one ego.
A lot of the people who have been on PT events I have been on have been inspired to go on and start up there own groups or join a local group of there own which is something they encourage as well.
I don't think it is for everyone due to the price but it is not to be confused with just a ghost hunt.

I agree entirely with what you've said Spooky...PT are certainly worth the money when you compare them to some other paranormal groups...without naming any names ;D an investigation I did at the Red Lion with another group left me bored to tears!!! And the fact that they provide a medium and food has to be considered when comparing the cost too I just meant they are priced so that you can't exactly go on one a month! ;D'

wow I think these invos sounds as though they are worth 100 spondoolies and then some!! You are on an investigation with a truly professional bunch of people who connect with so many people in a variety of ways, I would be in paranormal heaven!! If all this comes with great hospitality and all then.....pity you are all so far away from where I stay though my gggggggggg great grandfather Sir Hugh Allingham came from Hampshire and was general in King James 1 army in the early 1600s. He went to Ireland from there, stole the land and stayed there and then t my ggggg grandfather Francis Allingham, a mere farmer, had to flee Ireland due to the "An Garta Mor" in 1848 to Glasgow and thats why us Allinghams are now Scottish!!!! I know Im doing my family tree and aint I doing well?? Sorry for changing the subject but you guys coming from hampshire and all! I believe Allingham was the name of a village in Hampshire!! there I go again sorry!!! Buny xx

You would be surprised where we end up going. We are off to Aberdeenshire this year which is the furthest north I have been on an investigation so far. Leith Hall. The full list of events are at www.ghosthaunted.com/events.aspor on the Paranormal Tours website
