 Hi to all, this is a picture I took about 4 days ago, it's at my dads house ironically at my dads wake, he past away on the 17th of this month at his home in the same location where this "orb" appears to be and it would be fitting for my dad to be there because he liked a good party. Although I think these types of phenomena are interesting I’m sure that there is an explanation. Have a look and see what you think my ears and eyes are open. I have posted in a few different forums to get as much info as possible. I have more pictures to upload please be patient. |

i had a picture like that taken on a camera 20yrs ago
it annoyed me for years until i discovered what it could be

Hi Jules and Nightmarevision I never always know what to make of them either! The one in the photo above is impressive, but I do believe the majority are just dust particles, moisture droplets etc. I have a friend who is a professional photographer and he has explained how they occur...I would like to think that they dont all have a rational explanation though!!  |

i know what you mean i would love all orbs to be spirits
but there are some impressive ones that still defy all explantion

I did an experiment last night which proved a theory I had.
I took a picture in one part of the living room, then I took a dry face towel and give the back of the tv a wipe.
I then shook the towel and although I could not see the dust I knew it was there, I then took the picture again and there was loads of orbs identical to the ones above.
Although I would have loved them to be my dad in the above photo's it looks like (in my personal opinion) they are just dust particles.
However the face in the mirror baffles me.
