I agree. The most activity I have witnessed to date has been in my parents home. Including recently. My father died at the end of January and I experienced a couple of things not long afterwards in the house. I am selling it now, so wonder whether the activity will carry on with the new owners!?

I'm the same as you Jules...I lost my mum back in 1990, and although I have a brother and niece, nephew etc in Australia, we dont contact each other much at all. My father helped build the house in the 1940s and lived there until he died. My family, to date, are the only people who have lived in that house, so I know that whoever is still there now, is probably a family member, as it was fields before they built there! So I take some comfort in that, which makes it rather hard to sell it.

Never mind Hartswood look at selling it like leaving home when you did. They are still there and everywhere else they want to be and will always have time to visit you
