I woke this morning to some very sad news.
Jasmin, my family's much loved dog passed away in the early hours of this morning, 19th February.
My mum woke for seemly for no reason at 5 pm with a strong feeling that she should go downstairs, where Jasmin slept. As she went into the living-room she found Jasmin suffering a stroke. My mum stayed with Jasmin and held her in her arms as she passed over.
I believe that one of my mums spirit guides woke her in time to be with Jasmin in the end.
Jasmin was 17 years old, with one eye, blind in the other and totally deaf though sometimes I think she could still hear but just pretended she couldn't.
She was such a little character, stubborn and playfully in her more active years and though she couldn't go out for walks or play with her rubber ring in her later years she still made her presence known and would happily wander around randomly barking just so my mum and her partner Jon wouldn't forget she was there, as if they would.
I can't refer to Jasmin as a pet as she was much more then that. She was very much a member of our family and gave love unconditionally.
The reason I have posted this message is so that Jasmin will be remembered but also if any members of our forum read this if that could spare a thought for beloved Jasmin and wish her safe walkies in her new adventure in spirit, (and that she also pops in to visit sometimes) and to also send some healing energies to my mum and Jon to help them through this difficult time,
Many thanks,
Sam
