I saw Brit comedy cop action film 'Hot Fuzz' the other day and Waverley Abbey popped up in one of the scenes. If you've seen the film its the bit where Simon Pegg's character gets stabbed by Nick Frost. I couldn't believe it when Simon Pegg, after discovering loads of dead bodies in the castle cellars climbs up and rolls out of the fireplace in Waverley Abbeys Refectory!
Simon.

I watched the DVD again, and there is a really good shot as Simon says of the Abbey! Wonder why I never noticed it first time round...

I watched Elizabeth the Golden Age the other day and yep you guessed it there was Waverley Abbey. Only briefly but they take someone out there and rough em up in the refectory.
You would think there would be somewhere in a bit better condition to do these shoots wouldnt you. Unless its because its free entry. ;D
