www.castles-abbeys.co.uk/Arundel-Castle.htmlI went hear years ago as a child and out of curiosity went again the other weekend. Was very impressed with the place in particular the Library, Original Keep and Queen Matildas Bedroom which has a very heavy presense in there. Would loved to have spent a bit of time in these areas but it was daytime and people were coming and going, as they do so had to keep with the flow. So if your ever down that way its well worth a visit. www.castles-abbeys.co.uk/Arundel-Castle.html

Meant to say at the weekend Steven, that we drove within staring out the car window distance of Arundel Castle couple of weekends ago on the way the Littlehampton. Unfortunately didn't have chance to pop in and have looksie at the place as my brother was driving us down to visit our Dad. Have to say though even from a distance Arundel Castle looks very impressive and was much larger then I expected. (I always seem to be impressed by the size of castles. Wonder what Freud would have to say about that. ) Definitely will have to go there in the near future for a tour round. I'll do covert dowsing like we did at Berry Pomeroy. Hide the crystal as soon as a member of the public appears and try not to look guilty . www.castlegatewebdesign.com/castles/arundel/ARUNDEL.htm
