Dan writes, "Hi, I'm Dan and I live in a small town called Bracknell in Berkshire, England. Near my school there's a weird farm called Peathingy Farm and there's a freaky abandoned house near it. Believe me, you don't want to go in it, let alone near it. It was windy on the 9th of March, 2003, and my friends, Sam, Russ, Louise and I were going to check it out before we went ice skating. We found the house and climbed over the gates and then Russ made the worst mistake that he could do in a haunted house. He smashed the window with a stone. We then found a door which looked like it had been forced open, and we decided to go through, somewhat stupidly. As we went in, we found that it had been abandoned for some time, seeing as we had found an envelope which dated to 1950. The carpet was trashed and there was a weird burning smell coming from the floor. As we walked through the kitchen, we heard a weird whistling noise. Well, I did, anyway. Then, as we looked to the cooker, we found a fairly old squirt bottle full of what looked like bleach. We were a bit worried, too, seeing as we didn't know if there was asbestos (or however you spell it) in the walls or roof. Anyway, we all split up, so there was one normal person, and one paranormally intuned person, so it was Russ and me (me being the paranormalist) and Sam and Louise (Sam being the paranormalist). Anyway, me and Russ checked out the downstairs area while Louise and Sam checked out the top floors (being a three story house). Russ and I could hear the light footsteps of Sam and Louise, but at the same time, there were relatively "heavy" footsteps. We heard some disturbance upstairs, and I shouted for them to get out, so we ran out of the house to let what had just happened sink in. Another fact is that Sam and Louise had found the upstairs bathroom, and found that it had a lining of drying, repeat "DRYING" blood. We told them about the footsteps, and gaining enough courage, went back in. This time we decided not to go upstairs, but to continue looking downstairs. We found some window cleaner which had never been opened, but they shook it off and went to another area. Me, being the investigative type, reached for the bottle and as I did so, there was a sliding noise from upstairs, like a cupboard, or chest of drawers being dragged slowly across the floor. Again we found ourselves outside. Breathing heavily, our stomachs were tying in knots, me panting and muttering "Jesus Christ" and "Holy Mother of God." We sat on some logs. This time, we thought, forget the rest, and go in, but don't come out no matter what unless we have to. It didn't take long. As we walked into the hallway/living room, we walked into what looked like a dining room, but everything had been cleared away. We heard some knocking from a large black fireplace, and I wanted to run, but I didn't want to leave them in there, so I stayed put. I was sweating heavily, even though the room was icy cold. We walked over to a doorway, which looked locked. Then, from the east side of the house, facing whats known as "Death Woods" there is a gate, which was being knocked, we thought by the wind, but it suddenly crossed my mind that it looked like it was being pulled from the inside, as if someone was trying to get out. We still didn't go, but then there was something that no 13 year old kid should ever see. There were shadows, coming from the door, but these weren't our shadows, seeing as the only light was coming from the door, and the shadows were coming from the side of the beam of light, not from in front of it. That was it. Russ suddenly shouted "GO" and we ran for our lives! Not knowing what it was, we ran until we got out of that farm, and we didn't talk until we were on the fly-over to go to the ice rink. As we looked back at the house though, we could see a white cloud coming from one of the top floor windows. It looked like a little girl was watching at us as if to say, "Who are they? Where are they going?" or watching us with pure evil. And it kept moving across the window, and it wasn't a curtain, because there are none left apart from downstairs. Well, that's it. Sorry theres a bit of gibberish in the middle, but there you go, and I know that there is no amount of cash, and there is no other way that anyone is getting me into that house again."
