I took part in an investigation at Muncaster Castle on 2nd April headed by Dr Jason Braithwaite, who has been carrying out paranmormal research there for 15 years. We had a very interesting evening! Around 2:00 in the morning the magnetic field meter in the infamous Tapetry room started ticking over nicely, whereas it had been quiet all night and at 2:35 four of us were sat in that room when the door banged and shook very loudly (the door to this room is infamous for opening on it's own) at the same time the door to the adjacent room came wide open and the radiation meter downstairs went off the scale. To say we jumped out of our skins would be an understatement! After that we had a quiet night but prior to this we found lots of interesting and intermittent EMF readings in part of the house were there was no obvious electrical equipment and also discovered that the bed in the Tapestry is so magnetised a compass will not work on it. It's a fascinating place with many stories to tell.
