waverly abbey kicks off

As you all know we have been visiting Waverley Abbey many times during the filming of the DVDs. We have caught many orbs and many ghostly images and have only just recently decided that there is nothing of interest left at the abbey but orbs .A recent trip to Waverley Abbey proved it all wrong, or at least through my eyes and one of my close friends clowi.

There is the embarrassing story of my disco monkey birthday card but this time I think I have caught something.
It is not on camera, it is not on film but the story is so clear in mine and Clowis head. Basically Clowis and I took a voyage alone to Waverley Abbey mainly because she hasn’t been there before and I wanted to show her the ruins and one of our locations. We walked around for a while until I decided to climb back onto the tunnel I was climbing when Steven thought I was attempting to walk through walls on our earlier visits. I began to jokingly hurl abuse at Clowi until she decided to take a walk some where behind the wall. Although it sounds disgusting, I did have a lot of phlegm in my mouth and remember spitting it out on the tunnel and saying to my self "grose" just then I heard mumbling coming from what I thought was behind the wall. I called "what?" thinking it was Clowi and continued to shout "What did you say I didn’t hear you, you were mumbling" she soon reappeared from the other side with a happy "hi"
I asked her what she had said to me behind the wall but she swore blindly she hadn’t said a word. Seeing as this was only a matter of days after the monkey incident at hell fire caves I began to get really freaked after she swore so clearly and positively that she had not said a word. When I jumped back down from the tunnel I walked over to her only to hear a stone or rock either fall or was thrown against one of the walls behind me. There was nothing around and I tried to keep in mind that her and I had already walked around the abbey and we were positive we were the only ones there. I asked her if she had heard it and she thought I was joking around and trying to spook her out, she walked over to me and began to poke me and tickle me thinking I was lying in a playful manner and we began laughing together as she jumped on me and we played in the long grass when suddenly we both stopped after hearing a young girls belly laugh. (when you guys next see me and ask me about it I’ll do the impression of what we heard) the freaky thing about it is this time we had both heard it and described it as the same thing, but with no equipment or anything of proof you all have to just believe me on this one.
It scared the nuts out of us because it was far different than either of us could produce. We both attempted to copy it exactly but failed but we can both do our own impressions and they both sound so alike. Afterwards Clowi was late to get home but I insisted on showing you guys so forgetting you were at that castle we rushed to your house and ended up speaking to Chris about it all. I think Paul is right, it is going to kick of this weekend and I am not going to miss a bit.

That is a great account of your story and brings us up to date on the latest Waverley Abbey events. When we heard that you had rushed round to our house straight from Waverley Abbey, we knew it was pretty bad. You handled the episode with the Monkey really well so we knew it bad.

Now we are up to date, it all adds to the event

That sounds interesting. We noticed the sound of girls playing in the distance when we were last there. We are sure that this came from a girl guide campsite about 1/2 mile away (Herons Way). The voice (laugh) you heard sounded as though it was close to you... which rules out that explanation.

We also had some strange stuff happen to us involving stones, one of the lads saw a stone in the middle of the grass by the infirmary, he had not noticed it before while testing with EMF, so he put some yellow tape on it and replaced it where he found it. It later had moved about 8-10 yards closer to the Alter and had flipped. Paranormal or somebody pulling our leg? Everybody there swears blind they did not touch it.

We use infared beam barrier alarm which make a loud sound if the beam between them is broken. We set them up near the Refectory exit of the main Abbey. They didn't make a peep all night except on 2 occasions, with in about 6 mins of each other. That part really freaked us out. Can Ghosts cut infared... looks like it. There was nothing there to set them off.

The best bit on camera was when talking to a near psychic friend of my brothers I was pushed (nudged) in the side of my back as though somebody was squeezeing past me down a small alley, I managed not to scream, but my underwear turned a very different colour. Nobody else was around me as I was doing a semi long shot of the 3 others. My reaction was caught on camera.

Not just orbs I think...
Will you be there on the 19th us? It should be an eventful night.

steven i know its unprofessional to speak in txt here but u seriously gotta learn the lingo, its alot faster and easier. any way that aside lol yeah ill be at waverly on the 19th, definatly after the incident me and clowi had. ill be bringing along my gf and my mate dan as they are huge fans of most daunted. my other mates are huge fans also as big bird and browny both know but i dont think they'll take it seriously enough. i was told about the camp site accross the river and although sounds can travel and bounce of the ruins to make the sound like they are coming from some where else, the mumbling i heard from behind the wall sounded so much like clowi and it was mumbling not shouting which im sure you'd agree is harder to hear when ur quite a distance away. clowi swore blind she said nothing. as for the womans laugh, it was a belly laugh and it was right ontop of us and so clear as well, the only other explanation there could be is that some one was hiding behind clowi when we heard it, thats how clear it was but as ive said we scouted the area before playing around. its definatly chilling and scared the crap into us. breaking infared, rocks with tape moving, voices being heard, yes this is going to kick off. i cant wait and even if it dosnt, it'll still be a great night of exploration.

I dont know if you are aware Robin, I have informed the authorities of our investigation (police & national heritage). I would appriciate if you could let me know definate numbers by Friday night, same for you GH team. I am expecting a visit from the police at some point as recently there have been some thefts at Waverley Abbey during the day & some partys at night. I have informed the police there will be about 12 people, but we are now nearing 20!!! I may be being a little paranoid, but I would like this to run as smoothly as poss. I dont fancy being asked to leave at 11pm.

Oh & Robin I find that if somebody doesn't want to take things seriouy they need a good half hour on their own in the old infirmary!!! That should get them climbing the walls!!!

hey me again, im guessing i havnt given every one enough time to reply yet, well even if it didnt kick off for u all, i did some filming the next morning which ive only just looked over, a nasty image of me talking to the camera while laying in my bed and it looks as if 2 orbs pass over my face. ill be showing steven and paul if they're interested, the thing is, altho i admit to having my curtans open and usually anything can cause a glare over the lense, my room's window faces a wall. so unless some one directly below is deliberatly catching the light and some how knowing where to shine it then i think ive caught somthing. i keep watching it over and over and theres just nothing in my room that could have caused it. if i have caught anything then im gonna be a littlle worried whether you want to put it on series 3 or not because its my morning face and im a bit to say the least. tell me what u guys think, stevens seem my room and what it offers in a view.

I havent had time to look through the footage yet but will hopefully get some once the other stuff is out the way. (Currrently putting the HFC, BP and MHL onto DVD and with the day job and smacked up bumper life is a little hectic) Sounds interesting though what you have and if you need to put it onto disk so you can free the tape up bring it round and Ill sort it out.

I've only just seen this thread, the laughter insident sounds scary Robin. I wish I'd come over for some of the vigil on the 19th it sounds like you all had a good time. Martin has posted some photos from the night over on my group, Paranormal Farnham, if you wonna check them out.

I also found this link earlier, it has a lot of history and legends connected to the Abbey and the witchs cave, and stuff about ley lines at the site, interesting stuff.
