My first time.

Hi all
Just thought i would tell you about the first time i done crystal dowsing in the Schooner hotel.
It was my 3rd investigation & the first time i had used my crystal, i was in the corridoor of room 16, 17,18 &19
I had kept 2 AA batterys & my mobile phone all in my crystal pouch, with the crystal.
Then with out protecting myself i started to use my crystal i was amazed who much the crystal moving & that i was getting good answers then all of a sudden i felt all emotional & i was not breathing propably it was short quick breathing my eye's went big & my kneck was all stuck out at the side oh it was so scary i felt as if i was been suffercated & i could not snap out of it i was not in control of myself, so someone in my group took the crystal from my hand & another member ran for our medium & chairman gordon & i had to be brought forward when gorden was saying down my ear come forward it was like he was talking down a tube to me & it was reaching the bottom of my ear & every time he said come forward it got higher up the tube & when i finilly come round his voice was at the top of the tube.
Gordon got me out of the corridor & i had tears down my face & i was shaken i was so drained i was totaly burnt out.
Then i went to put my crystal away & my mobile phone was flat & it was fully charged before also i went to put my 2 new AA batteries in my tourch & everything was flat.
So i stoped using my crystal till i thought i had learnt enough abought dowsing & now i always protect myself before i use it.
Now i get good results everytime.

Wow that sounds a bit traumatic.

I am a big fan of the pendulum myself and have had some good results so far but have yet to encounter anything on that scale. Though we havent been to the Schooner hotel yet so I have probaly been lucky.

When you use protection are you using white light or using other methods as I think this is probaly one area we take for granted a lot of the time and something we need to practise more often than we do.

Hi Spooky
I ask god & the good spirit to protect & help me seek the answers & suround me with a white blanket of light.
It's worth doing every time & would strongley recomend anyone dowsing to do this.
In dowsing there are three important question to ask
once you have established the yes no movement.
1, "may i ask you some question's"
2, " can i ask you some question's "
3, " should i ask some questions"

If you get the "yes" sign to all three questions then you will get good answers.

My experiance at the Schooner tought me a lesson just at the begining of my spiritul path it made me respect the "unknown" & to protect myself & our group.
It was after my possession that it all hit me the hardest, i could not sleep for 3 days after i was napping for 1 hour & it was like something had been in my body that i DID NOT LIKE i felt as if i needed clensing myself & was asking our medium how does he do it as he gets taken over on a number of times.
At this point in my life i was about to pack in the paranormal reserch as it was not a nice thing to go through.
But after long talks with our medium Paul Sandbach & loads of reserch i felt comfortable again and have gone on to do over 50 or 60 investigation's.
With some more scary tales to tell lol
Hope one day we can all meet up or hey you never know you all might be brave enough to come to the charity night at the famous Schooner with it's eledged 60 ghost's.
We dont believe that there are 60 spirits there but there are a canny few & some that are not so nice.

Thanks for the information.

I have always wondered what it must feel like to have hosted somebody else like that, it cant be to good especialy if they come uninvited but it sounds like you have some excellent help onhand and glad to see you got round the problem. I dont envy you at all.

I have always imagined or visualised a white light protecting us when we visit places but wondered if it would be enough. I guess, as with everything, its just a case of following your gut and if you feel its time to leave, you leave, if you feel its going to get bad or to coin a popular phrase round these parts "kick off!"

Ill try the questions you suggested on our next outing and let you know how we get on. At the Abbey on Saturday I asked if there was anybody there, if they were going to be friendly and how many (by counting from 1 upwards) etc but didnt ask for permission first so maybe thats why they swiped my pendulum.

Hi Spooky
What i did forget to mention is that if you get the "no" answer to any of them 3 question i would recomend i you dont carry on dowsing, i thank the spirit & put my crystal away and try it in a diffrent area or room.
Also i ask for the dont know or pass answer.
So i have it doing 3 answers rather than just yes or no.
