Might be of interest…
I caught up with an old friend over Christmas. We used to investigate paranormal activity together, some 10-15 years ago. We eventually went our separate ways, he being very interested in UFO’s, and although I’m interested in the subject, I refuse to combine that subject with that of any paranormal – it’s just too subjective at the best of times.
The strange thing is; that after sharing many stories and both having travelled all over the place investigating our own particular fields of interest, we discovered that most, but not all of the time, we were often only a few miles apart from each other.
What really bugs me is that; quite often, at the exact time I experienced something strange, he did too (but very different – me; ghostly stuff, he; lights in the sky stuff).
I should probably be freaking out, but for some reason I feel conned – conned by some ‘universal trick’. I really do feel that my life is some sort of video loop, played for someone else’s amusement. Very annoying!
However, if true, any one of us should be able to figure this out and predict next week’s Lottery numbers. Every cloud, eh :-)

Have you read the Celestine Prophecies? That deals with coincidences like these so dont feel too conned Could it be that these lights in the sky are causing a disturbance down here on the ghost front? Or are their engines energising all the stone tapes nearby. Could be the universe trying to tell you there is a link? Shame though as you could of car shared and saved a few bob by the sounds of it.

No, I haven't read that. Is it by James Redfield? (a quick 'Google' told me so). If so, I'll buy it!
Quite right though - a bit of foresight and the fuel bill would have been more reasonable :-)

I've found that alien encounters and accounts of ghostly apparitions are often similar. I think this is down to your own perception and beliefs, and feel they share a common cause but what exactly that is I don't know. I don't think the two subjects are so far appart.
Simon.
