This picture was taken long before the castle was repaired and made safe for visitors so consider that somebody went to the effort of clambering in to the castle up the treachorous vines where many a traveller had come a cropper to snap this pic. Also the style of head dress is not typical turn of the last century and is more in keeping of the upper classes of the middle ages. So either a lot of trouble went into this as a fake or somebody caught something on film coming from the chapel.

I have to say that it does look real, & I couldn't imagine that someone would go to all that trouble to fake a picture esp as there was a good chance that they could themselves some serious damage doing it. If they did fake it, they went to a heck of a lot of trouble & detail doing it.

TheDoctor pointed this out to me the other day. As you look at the oroginal picture above on the left the vines and plants are white or have been bleached by the sun in the area that The White Lady or Margaret is said to walk and the white trail stops at where she is standing in the picture by the open door. The wall on the left of the picture is the wall she has been seen walking along the top of also known as the Rampart I believe. This is a picture we took in June of the same area. the whited out area is where steps down to the door way are as can be seen a little clearer here : Could this be a trail left by the spirit over hundreds of years or a mist or energy picked up on the film or just a coincidence this path she takes doesnt grow plants very well?
