Darn...I missed it! I have always found the Underground rather creepy...esp very late at night...and esp after watching An American Werewolf in London!!!! ;D I really find the disused stations spooky...there must be a few spirits lurking down there...

Sounds like a good show.
Just did a quick search for Ghosts on 'The Underground' but sadly I can't see it being repeated during the next two weeks. Below is a brief idea what the programme was all about.
"Documentary about unexplained phenomena experienced by staff and passengers on the London Underground network. One billion people a year descend 150 feet below London, to the tunnels and stations of the tube, without a second thought for the thousands of graves, church crypts, and plague pits that the tube has disrupted over its 100 years. Featuring previously unheard accounts from people who work on the network, drivers, station staff and workers."

Crikey! I never gave a thought to all the old graveyards etc that they would have ploughed through to dig out the tunnels! Must be spooked then! ;D

on one of the stations the way in was once an entrance to an old crypt and the ticket office was the crypt it's self
imagine that and there were loads of cemetaries and plague pits dug up to house the different railway lines
