Just thought I would share a website where I just had delivered an IR lamp which boosts the night vision function to up to 30 meters.
The light cost me £35 plus delivery which was a couple of quid. They do another model which does pull power off the camera if you have a hotshore but its a lot more money and this way I can detacth it from the camera and leave on a tripod.
