With a lot of new camcorders suddenly being purchased does anyone have any tips on the best price for batteries and other such extras?
I know you can buy "other manufacturer" brands on ebay at quite a good price to.
I think most of us have the M series but any tips, links are welcomed....

Some people on e-bay do sell the genuine batteries as well but most of them are bid only items unfortunately which means the prices can go up & work out quite expensive. The batteries can sometimes be cheaper then retail, in the shop prices, but do check out the post & package cos that can make it more expensive. The "other manufacturers" batteries are cheaper but are not recommended by the original equipment manufacturers as they can damage your camcoders, so use at your own risk. If anyone has used any of these non official batteries & had no problems please let us know

I use the smaller "F" series batteries. Two good on-line shopping websites are ... www.dealtime.co.ukwww.shopgenie.co.uk... both of which work in a similar way by trawling the on-line shopping websites. In my opinion ShopGenie has the edge over DealTime, as ShopGenie calculates the P&P too!!! This can sometimes make a big difference.
