Something I like about some of these is you can charge up mobile phones and even some digital cameras with them.

pmsl we took one of these on an invest and everytime we thought we heard somethin and were tryin to listen all of a sudden the torch would die so crank crank crank lol would b winding up again lol

my son has one of these torches

they are great

but do go flat quick

i can imagine on an invest it can be annoying

;D worse thing is we found it funny so wen the flippin torch werent cranking up for recharge we were laughin coulda had ghosts right there wiv us and wouldnt have noticed lol

i wouldnt mind but the bloke whos torch it was broke the handle near the end of the night then on the drive home he starts on wonder how it works blah blah takes the whole flippin lot apart bits everywhere then the cheek of it he says think i will get a new one i was like no i will keep ya in batteries hun jus not another flippin wind up torch lol ;D

They are a good idea, but as for being reliable at crucial moments.....errrrr....no!

They do wind up radios too The ones I have seen take about couple of minutes winding for about 30 minutes worth of radio
