I borrowed this from the MH forum today, I liked where they were coming from with it....
An analogy for you to think on... dogs are colour blind. That is to say they see in black and white. They are unable, physiologically to perceive colours. So a rainbow appears in shades of grey.
This does not mean that colour is scientifically impossible. That colour does not exist. But the dog is unable to PERCEIVE it. And no proof of colour can be given... even though as humans we know it to be true.

But surely BLACK and WHITE are colours in themselves. Somebody will surely point out now that white is a mix of ALL colours and that black is the removal of all colours ... or something like that. I am sure that DrJones would have some valuable input into this colourful debate ;D

Somebody mention me? ? ? ? Ahh I see a scientific inquiry well:- Black and white are not counted as colours as they are both all and none of the colours dependent on whether you are projecting light through or onto them (additive and subtractive mixing). Please note:- To my knowledge no-one has ever successfully transplanted a canine's eyes and no dog has ever learnt to speak so who is to say they are colour blind they may just percieve the world in a diffrent spectrum for example infrared hence why they are supposed to see ghosts. And that's all I have to say about that right now
