As a medium raises their energy levels to communicate with spirit this should enable them to provide enough evidence when relaying a message, psychics on the other hand connect with YOUR energy and use it to read the person and return information the subject is giving them in the first place, a medium can use a psychic ability but a psychic will not be able to provide a spiritual communication link, i have had a good medium demonstrate to me how to give a good psychic reading this was done during conversation and i was suprised at how much information she had obtained from me, this would be a method that these phone line psychics use as you dont need to see the person you are reading the person recieving the reading is inadvertantly feeding the medium, i dont really like calling these people mediums, theres a difference between spiritual communication and using genralisations to provide a psychic link.
