If spirits can haunt houses, cars, boats and planes etc whats the smallest recorded thing you have heard of to have activity related to it?
I have heard of dolls in the past for instance the clown on the locations board is one example.

I've read somewhere recently that one of the most common objects to be haunted are mirrors! (Jamaica Inn - woman in mirror?)
And there's meant to be a haunted wheelchair(!) at Ham House in Richmond, that moves around the room.

If you're looking for small haunted objects then I've got a story that happened to my Dad some years ago. He used to deal in antique china, buying up lots a auction and selling them at antique fairs and stuff. Anyway he bought this lot with a very ordinary looking cup in it, this cup had some thick brown sticky stuff in it kinda like treackle. He washed it out, as he did with all the other china he'd got that day, wrapped it all in news paper and packed it in boxes ready for his next fair. At his next fair he unpacked the cup only to discover it had the sticky stuff in it again, he took it back home after the fair washed it out again and packed it away. He checked on it again a short time later and again it had the sticky stuff in it! This happened several times then one day my Mum read a story about a supposed haunted glass that kept filling up with a similar substance. Now my Dad doesn't believe in ghosts and the like but this spooked him and he through the cup away. My Dad looked for ways to explain what had happened, checking for some kind of leak in the cupboard in which it was stored and stuff like that, but just couldn't find a reason for it.

Thats very strange.... Shame he didnt get it tested to see what it was, but thats the sort of thing you think of after isnt it...

Yeah it was years ago when I was a teenager and I didn't think of that at the time. I think my Dad just wanted it out of the house, but it would have been interesting to have found out what it was.
