I think it is to a degree. I know of people who had/have parents or grandparents who were sensitive or psychic...I'm sure it IS passed down, a bit like having musicians in the family...the talent/ability is often passed from generation to generation. Alas, I don't think anyone was psychic in my family! ;D

i had no-one in my family who was psychic
but my dad's family had lots of ghostly experiences
so i wonder if being prone to paranormal experiences run in families

I've been into ghosts and stuff long before I knew my Mum had seen them and had other experiences. She never told me until I was in my teens but I've been facinated by the subject sinse I was about 8. I also feel I may have inherited a little of he sensitivity although I've never seen a full blown apparition like she has, I do think it runs in the family.

No more so than catholicism or paganism or any other ism They are all organised religions of some kind and not genetic but a result of our upbringing I expect.
