This is a topic I dont think we have talked about before on here.
I would imagine at one point in time we have all been to see a Medium or Psychic etc and I was just wondering if anybody has ever had information that they could validate and take 100%. This is without making it fit or letting discrepancies go.

I was going to mention this on another thread, but as you've brought the subject up here.... The one and only time I've had a reading from a medium, which was quite recently, was probably 10 per cent correct and the rest I think was made up as they went along  I would dearly love to have a reading which afterwards made we think "that was brilliant....I really can believe in them now!" I need convincing. |

Its interesting as that has always been my experience as well.
Dont get me wrong though I do beleive and cant deny that I have had some interesting personal experiences but I have yet to meet a medium or third party who has managed to convince me they can speak to spirits on our behalf. If anything they have managed to prove to me the contrary.
Will be interesting to see if anyone at all has a positive experience...

Although saying that I have been impressed watching mediums give information to someone else (Common Leys Farm, for example) - but then again it wasn't me they were giving it to, and I of course can't be sure it was 100 per cent correct!

Do you mean as in proving existance on the 'other side' or as in telling you what is coming up in the future  I always seem to have my father's parents coming through, but then to my mind, if it really is them then they are only going to offer an opinion as to what they would like to happen rather than maybe what will happen.  I have been told a lot in the past which has come true, but better still I have actually done readings with cards for myself and others and things have come true. I did an astrological reading for my sis-in-law way back in 1992 and said that by the end of '96 it would be 'all over and sorted'..... In Nov '96 she called and asked for a reading but I put it off. I did my own cards instead and got the Death card in the immediate future position. The next day she was killed in a car accident. That shook me to say the least, as 4 years earlier I had seen something on her chart as coming to an end. I don't know however if what I picked up was from a guide or my aura or her aura...... but it must have come from somewhere and been fated to happen  So, I'm very open minded. |

It's funny me coming across this thread after only just logging into the forum...
I was on an investigation last Saturday and of late have been on quite an emotional rollercoaster with one thing and another..
Anyway, on this invest we had a guest Medium who I had never met before, and who knew absoltuly diddly squat about me... She brought my Grandma through. I didn't need to make it fit, as she described her down to a tea, she also described my daughter and told me what my Grandma thought of her (which was lovely), plus she came out with phrases my grandma used to say....
Normally with readings I kind of sit on the fence, even if they are for me, as I like 100% verification, this tiome I got 150%... It was great... Especially as I didn't go looking for it, infact, had I been asked, I would've said I wasn't ready for a reading...
Seems spirit thought otherwise...

I've never had a reading myself but once went along with a friend for moral support, I sat next to my friend as the medium started the reading and the things she was picking up related to me more. I felt a bit guilty as my friend paid for the reading, the medium was describing interests that I had and events that were coming up for me, it was quite funny cos my friend kept saying 'no thats him!', 'no him again!'. Luckely this just happened at the start of the reading and the medium started getting stuff for my friend.
One of the things she said that related to me was that a wedding was coming up that I would have a roll in rather than being just a guest, this was true as I'd just been asked to be an usher at a friends wedding and this was the first time I'd ever had any sort of roll at a wedding! Interesting! ;D

I recently was picked from the audience, along with others, at a spiritualist church, where I was given information about something that happened to me at school, and the medium also described exactly a relative of my mother's, who worked in theatre, but whom I'd never met. I must say I was quite impressed!

I still think they get the info from us via telepathy or something, the stuff I was told were things that were probably on my mind at the time. I feel its kinda the same as when you know what your partners thinking, know what I mean?

I'm still not too sure on this subject. When the medium gave me that information, the last thing I was thinking about was what happened to me in school in 1976!!!! But then again, I have also been given a load of absolute rubbish from mediums as well.  |
