Has anyone ever had a premonition that has come true? I've had many over the past few years. You always hear of someone who has dreamt of an impending disaster. Or dream of an accident involving someone they know and then it happens Are these just coincidences, or is spirit trying to give you information so you can be strong for other family members or friends?

I have had a couple in dreams
I dreamt that a small white aircraft came down on the field opposite my house and then approx 2 days later a small aircraft crashed in a field..
Also after Sarah Payne went missing but was not yet found, I had a very vidid dream that left me wishing I knew more to be able to tell police where to find her... the details I dreamt turned out to be very similar to the circumstances in which she was found.. it really un-nerved me...

I was actually right near the field that she was abducted from on the day she disappeared and when I drove home I passed the exact place where her body was later found! That night I dreamt of that same spot - but obviously didn't connect it with her!

I just had no idea where it was... felt helpless for a couple of days until she was found and then I felt sick because of what I had seen in my dream..

That's strange isn't it? I found it un-nerving as well, especially as I was literally 50 yards from where she went missing, at almost exactly the same time as well...... And why on earth did I dream of the field that she was found in that night? I didn't even glance at it when I drove past, but when I went back later to look at the flowers etc that were left there, after she'd been found, I looked over the gate and recognised it Now that's wierd we both experienced something!

On the 18th of May 2003 I decided to start writing down my dreams, as an experiment to see if any of them came true in anyway. On Tuesday 20th May I had a horrific and very vivid dream, I was not in the dream but just an observer which is unusual for me. I saw what I can only describe as a building kind of pyramid shaped, you know like huge steps going up and getting shorter in width. This building was covered in people while other people went inside it. As they entered the building seemed to compress and crush those inside, hundereds of them. The air was filled with what sounded like chanting/moaning and there was a lot of bloody limbs protruding from holes in the structure. People went into the building willingly but once inside soon started to panic. It was so horrible that I woke myself up somehow.
Then the next day, wednesday 21st, came news of a massive earthquake in Algeria and one picture that I saw was of a collapsed building covered in rescuers, it really looked to me a lot like what I had seen in the dream.
This maybe just a coinsidence, but since then I haven't had any really memerable dreams like that. It just seems strange to me that I decided to record my dreams days before this vivid dream and the disaster!
Simon.

the fact that nothing has happened since, does not make it just a coincidence.. the fact that you felt drawn to writing your dreams down could be directly linked to the actual dream.. In the last 7 years i have only dreamt twice like this.. It sounds more than just a coincidence... if you ever have any more really vivid dreams like that you should write them down..

Yeah I will, another thought I had was that perhaps I was seeing events as they happened, you know some kind of astral projection or something. I thought this because the news of the disaster can the following morning so it may not have been a prediction, it was very strange though.

I dreamt of a train crash the night before the one at Hatfield Now that could just be coincidence, but train crashes are not the sort of thing I tend to dream about regularly. Why suddenly out of the blue?

That is quite a bizarre and uncanny dream to have had Simon. I had a what i would call a premonition about 10 years ago. Every morning i was woken up by a radio alarm at the same time. One particular morning, I can't remember the date, I was woken up to a news 'flash' on the radio about a boat with a load of fishermen on board which had gone missing off the scottish coast in high winds........i was sort of listening at the time, whilst getting ready for school, but didn't really think any more of it. the next morning, i was woken up to a news 'flash' on the radio about a boat with a load of fishermen on board which had gone missing off the scottish coast in high winds.....it was the exact same bulletin that i had heard the morning before, but had in actual fact only happened that night. watching tele later that day it was on all the national news as well. i found that quite strange!
