Uri Geller’s Mind-Power Book byUri Geller with Jane Struthers.(***)
Like a lot people I have heard and read about Uri in the past and I have to say I was a bit sceptical about reading his book. I thought it would just be a book off mad ranting but I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn’t. Uri writes about his experiences (some of which do sound a bit far fetched) in an honest and open way and allows the reader to draw they’re own conclusions. It’s by no means a “push my ideas and beliefs in your face” book. I found that quite refreshing. This is a very positive and up lifting book aimed at getting the reader to deal with life in a more positive way. I will say some of his methods are probably things I would never take the time to try but they are easy to follow and to do. There’s no guarantee that his methods will lead to a more positive and progressive life but then life doesn’t come with any guarantees and learning to believe in yourself and what you can do can make a difference. I think that is the particular message Uri is trying to get across with this book. He covers such subjects as willpower, colour therapy, dowsing, developing ESP, psycho kinesis, the chakras, visualization and many more subjects and of course how to bend kitchen utensils. It’s not the best book I’ve ever read but is definitely by far not the worse book either. If you feel down and need an up lifting read this book should be on your book shelf.
