I first read this in 1997 and enjoyed it then as I did just recently when I was drawn to it for inspiration.
This is a must read for anyone interested in touching on the state of trance, NLP or Hypnosis. Some of the book touches on the use of trance for spirit communication and gives an alternate interpretation to what is actually happening when someone goes into trance. I couldnt possibly do it justice on here though so if you can find a copy well worth picking it up.
There are a lot of books out there on the subject but for someone who just wants to touch on the subject and get a pocket sized hold on what is going on with our brains and how suceptable we all are its a real eye opener.
Im still a beleiver though so its not converted me and it doesnt try to but it does give you clues on what to look out for when people start going off on one which has been very interesting on investigations.
Anyway I have seen it from 50p to £5 out there so worth a gamble even if you dont like him
