Hi all Sorry I haven't been over here much lately, I've been a little busy. Anyway I popped over to say we had a very interesting visit to the Castle on Sunday. What I thought was just going to be a bit of history followed by a drink and chat, turned into a mini investigation and left me wanting to go back for more. There was only 6 of us, Sue took her pendulum and L-rods and found energy lines that crossed in the certre of the Keep where the well is and I think everyone felt something in one way or another, got a few orbs in the well, one of them was really bright and an odd shape. Anyway I've posted some photos on PF along with a little write up, heres the linkhttp://groups.msn.com/ParanormalFarnham/farnhamstories.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=1446&LastModified=4675491026985345813 Its a shame none of you guys could have mad it cos you would have realy enjoyed it, next time maybe. I do want to go again only I think it closed now until about March next year it would be a cool place to go at night but don't think there will be much chance of that! Cheers, Simon. P.S. Paul I've watched the Berry Pomeroy Castle DVD and found it very entertaining, I'll do the reviews after I've watched the Hell Fire Caves one.

Simon,
I saw the pics and read your report. It looks an interesting building for sure. Im sure if we approached English Heritage, like Martin did with the Abbey, they would let us spend the night in the keep. We could do it for a local charity and get some sponsorship and local press coverage etc Would be a good advertisement for the Castle as well.
Im going to be helping Paranormal Tours out during the investigation of the castle on the 31st October, we dont have access to the Keep on the night due to the well being a little risky but Ill be writing a report up after so Ill let you know what we discover.

I thought the well was the reason they didn't like people going in there at night, there is a cover that goes over it though so they could put that on. Helping out on Halloween, how did you swing that one?
Simon.

Swinging never came into it that was a nasty rumour It was good old fashioned begging and pleading at the end of the day. No shame ;D In all serious though myself and later on Sam are going to be helping the guys at Paranormal Tours out at a few investigations over the coming months. They are doing a really good job of introducing newbies and the experienced investigator to some cracking locations and its great to be asked to get involved. Anyone can book an event and turn up on the night and get handed an emf meter, canum and negative ion detector plus many more toys. They also have access to some of the best mediums and experienced investigators allowing you to get straight in there with no worries of arranging premises etc. What more could you want? Sorry Im getting biased now....
